Description

Today, the classic indications for gingivectomy are limited only to the hyperplastic forms of gingival alteration and in conjunction with gingivoplasty as a corrective measure in the context of preprosthetic and conservative treatment measures. In stepwise sequence, the surgical techniques are clearly presented with subsequent gingivoplasty using an electrotomy loop followed by application of a periodontal dressing. The typical phases of wound healing and the final results are then shown.
